As a co-founder of Elite, Tarina has been a driving force since the launch of Elite in 2018. She has made a significant contribution to successfully mold the business into the dynamic brand it is today. With over two decades of industry expertise, Tarina brings a wealth of experience that has been instrumental in the company’s growth and success.
Executive Head: ELITE
Tandiwe Cimela is the Executive Head of ELITE, with close to twenty years’ experience across the short-term insurance value chain.
Since joining ELITE in 2022, she has played a key role in strengthening governance, operational excellence and service delivery within the high-net-worth insurance segment.
Tandiwe has successfully completed several Old Mutual Insure Executive Leadership Programmes and was recognised as the recipient of the 2024 Retail Leader of the Year Award. She holds a postgraduate Business Administration qualification from Milpark Business School.
Under her leadership, ELITE continues to focus on delivering exceptional client experiences, specialist risk solutions and trusted partnerships for affluent clients and intermediaries.
